Grilled Yakitori
Yakitori is the Japanese Version of skewered chicken at the grill. Composed of chicken meat sliced in small pieces, liver and vegetables it is a grilled over charcoal and skewered on bamboo sticks. Any part of chicken might be used, starting with chicken wings, tails or even the skin. It might be considered the Japanese Buffalo Chicken and indeed, barbecue sauces are a must. Yet, the Japanese still prefer soy sauce.
